Return & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: January 2025

1. Custom Orders – No Returns

All LeatherTeck and EM Upholstery Technology products are custom-made for the customer’s specific year, make, model, trim, and selected design. Because each order is built to order, no returns are accepted once production has started, after the product has shipped, or after any part of the kit has been installed. Installed or partially installed products cannot be returned under any circumstance.

2. Free 15-Minute Cancellation Window

Orders may be cancelled or modified within 15 minutes of being placed at no cost. After 15 minutes, production, material allocation, and scheduling begin immediately.

3. Cancellations After 15 Minutes

Cancellations after the 15-minute window will incur a $500 non-refundable cancellation fee. This fee covers material allocation, cutting queue placement, production labor preparation, and administrative time. Once production has started or materials have been committed, the order may not be cancellable.

4. Orders That Have Already Shipped

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have shipped. Shipped orders cannot be rerouted, recalled, or returned. All shipped orders are final.

5. Refused Deliveries

If the customer refuses delivery for any reason, the order will be stored for up to 30 days. Storage or re-delivery fees may apply. After 30 days, the order may be automatically cancelled, and a refund will be issued minus a $500 cancellation fee.

6. Incorrect or Defective Items

If the wrong product is shipped or if there is a manufacturing defect, the customer must notify the Company within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photos or video. Once verified, the Company will repair, replace, or remake the affected part(s) at no cost.

This does not apply to issues caused by:
– Incorrect customer information
– Improper installation
– Color expectations based on screens
– Damage after delivery
– Improper cleaning or chemical use

7. Installation-Related Damage

The Company is not responsible for installer mistakes, labor errors, damage caused during installation, or additional installer charges. Any installation-related issue must be addressed with the installer directly.

8. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s bank or card issuer.

9. Return Shipping (If Authorized)

Return shipping is covered by the Company only if the error was made by the Company. If incorrect vehicle or design information was provided by the customer, all shipping and replacement costs are the customer’s responsibility.

10. How to Request a Cancellation or Report an Issue

Customers must contact the Company immediately to request cancellation or report a problem.

11. Final Policy Statement

By placing an order with EM Upholstery Technology & LeatherTeck, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Return & Cancellation Policy. This policy ensures fairness, sets clear expectations, and supports the efficient delivery of high-quality custom-built interiors.
